• "sample size is a fairly large" — is it? How do you know? You were asked to justify your choice, not just make up a number and hope.

• "The difference between rand and high_rand is..." — did you look at the code, or are you guessing?

• A list of the hash functions in best-to-worse order would be useful. Then you can put the explanations into a separate paragraph. Your explanation of the ranking is too vague. You need to point to specific measurements that decided your ordering.

• Shame you didn't get on to task 2

I try to avoid explaining everything in the labs because much of what they are about is getting you to find things out for yourselves.

This is meant to be a reflective essay, but you have said little about what you found difficult, things you didn't understand, when you asked for help and why, etc. Did you understand all the stats tests?
