Agenda

  • Sort out workplan
    • Must factor in all due project due dates (i.e. Interrim reports)
    • Should also factor in all possible due dates from other courses as well (To prevent loss of productivity)
    • Strict Workplan
      • Behind in terms of schedule
      • Must adhere to workplan and dates completely, no exceptions
  • Planning, Scheduling, and Documentation
    • Should we move to Google Docs?
      • Provides confidentiality
      • Craig and Jesse will be able to edit documents as well, as they please
      • Calendar available - Makes things easier to plan for workplan, due dates, etc
  • Research Topics
    • Sort out what research topics we're gonna do
      • I'll take video Conferencing research (Weng Hao)
    • Preferrable that research on technical side of Silverlight
      • Don't spend too much time on plugins (Maybe on how to get a plugin working, difficulty, interoperability/support integration with existing technololgies
    • Reasonable time on competitive technologies (Don't focus too much time on just competition)
      • Possible Competitors: Adobe Flash/Flex/Air, Google Gears, Mozilla Prism (?)
      • Maybe benefits using other technologies such as functionality, developmental side, etc

    • Preferrably before next meeting (Monday 7)

      • Support for Word, Email, Excel
      • Integration type of thing
  • Workplan has due dates and everything (Well done llyle)
    • Workplans MUST be completed by Thursday
      • Estimations
  • Ask Professor Grundy
    • When they check implementation progress?
      • This affects our iterations
      • Don't really want it affecting our implementations
  • Research/Implementation
    • May want to start 'streaming' parallel research and implementation from Iterations
      • As we know our exact requirements
      • Since only two people
