Meeting 5 - Tuesday 12th August, 11:00am - 12:00pm

  • Danver - Data Manager | Connection Server
  • Joey - Dev (?) Manager & Set Up Databaser
  • Shruthi & Katherine - Client (Sends/Recieves states as strings)
  • Dan - XML

Notes

  • XML Reader, more methods
  • Can treat state as object
  • XML Getstate ? what return type
  • Client should not block
  • Polling is bad
  • Tested out game of '10 - x' (The best game evar) with success. (Albeit slightly slow)
  • Mention of group reshuffling, not decided on at this meeting.

Group Meeting With Gerald (11:30pm-12:00pm)

  • Discussion about use of flash - Gerald does not approve (T_T). Mentioned stuff about Java being simple enough and supposed ease of 'peer evaluation'.
  • Discussion of stuff completed during the week took place.

  • Friday 15th of August.
