Introduction

We are attempting to create this multimedia version of Emily Dickinson's poem by using Adobe Photoshop. However this may yet change to other programs after the Beta version depending if we can find a more effective way to convey what we want to in the best possible way.

Beta Version

Beta, NOT complete

So far in this beta version, we are showing what we intend to do by the time we finish. This can be seen by the words fading in and out. Although simple now, later on we will implement other visual changes like backgrounds and pictures that will fade along with the words, creating multiple themes and meanings for the different words that Dickinson uses.

Final Version(dafting...)

SPIDERMAN AND ACCOMPLICES

The first instance of the poem is displayed in an “original” state (without any of the alterations Dickinson offered). As time allowed for reading passes, the words which can be changed are faded out, and their replacements in. With each fascicle follows a unique sequence of perhaps images, a change of background or a visual effect, to convey a new interpretation or theme if necessary. Photoshop has been used at first to get under-way, but later other techniques (hopefully) will be employed to further enhance the page and more accurately reflect the ideas we have about this poem.
