Comments from John Hamer

  • "Using a large sample size such as 10000 is more sensible." — why stop at 10,000?
  • 1000/10 — a load factor of 100 is far too high.
  • You have only given results for buzhash. What about all the others?

Your report contains little more that the copy-and-pasted output of a program that was given to you to run. You have not given any evidence of having looked at the numbers, or even appreciated the need to understand what they mean. I don't expect you to know these things immediately, but I do want you to recognise that you don't know and work out a strategy for finding out. That may involve asking the tutor or lecturer. It certainly doesn't involve mindlessly running a program and not bothering to look at the output.
