More

These are further questions raised by Gerald after the meeting on 31 March:

  • What server side DBs can you use with Google Gears and SQLite
  • What support/technology exists to do this DB-to-DB communication
  • What network protocol does Gears use to send SQL queries? ODBc/JDBC drivers?
  • Has any work been done on synchronisation between client and server?

  • There will be a meeting of SE students with Gerald to discuss these things and more on Thursday. Time and venue TBA
