April 21 Meetings

Research Meeting

  1. Discussed the wish list
    1. It is very high level
    2. Usability heuristics would be a non-trivial task to model programmtically
  2. Change of focus towards functional testing
    1. Providing inputs (e.g. XML script) and analyzing and making a comparison between the expected outputs with the actual outputs. Outputs could be in the form of text or images being shown.
  3. Also include some non-functional testing
    1. Response times
    2. Memory usage
    3. Network availability

Tasks going forward

  1. State the project objectives clearly
  2. Come up with some concrete scenarios
  3. Investigation and comparison of J2ME and .NET mobile technologies
