About Me

Mark Gardiner
I am a fourth year Software Engineering student. I am a founding member, and the events manager for SESA.
I have a 4th year project with Dr. Ian Warren and Nick Irvine on a scalable service-oriented architecture. ECE Description
I am doing an EPICS project for the Auckland City Council developing software for the seismic assessment of Auckland buildings, and storing this data.
I am a mystery shopper for Market Pulse! A web admin for Azion and I am a volunteer on a youth advisory group for URGE. I was also on the youth content advisory group for The Low Down.
In the past I have done work with UniFriend. And did my summer work experience through the CSI Academy with Orion Health - New Zealands largest exporter of software, and Metal Skills.
On top of all this, I actually do find the time for making little software scripts for myself, go for a run every day, and avidly watch all the TV I can get my hands on. I love solving problems, getting lost in the depths of Wikipedias questionable content, and learning new qwerky bits of information. Future dreams include: one day working at google -sigh-, starting the next microsoft/google! and further study.
I use a DVORAK keyborad layout at home, dont drink, and love to help people with any programming or the course related stuff I can still remember. I use the alias "M" on the SESA IRC channel or you can contact me with your million dollar business startup ideas at my email.
