Assessment
30% coursework (assignments and one test); 70% exam

Three lectures per week plus a tutorial in most weeks

- Architecture of computers and computer systems
- Processor organisation and implementation
- Data representation and instruction formats
- Microprogramming
- Input/output systems
- Virtual memory
- Hierarchical memory systems
