Implementation

• Extensibility - Make a generic interface for developers to be able to specify new functions
• Functionality - More commands over next few weeks
• Find out memory/hardware constraints of phone
• XML schema - make more expressive to include performance and aesthetics
• Results should not be a clear pass/fail - should be descriptive

Conference Paper/Final Report

• Reuse ideas from here for FR instead of copy/paste

Design decisions

• Emulators vs real phones
• XML generator - future work
• Commercial applications
• PC does the bulky work e.g. XML parsing, test reporting
• Sends small amount of data to phone (Strings)
• Send each instruction over as necessary vs. sending all instructions
• Manual inputting of modifications of source code

Evaluation

• Choose carefully some commercial applications that are available
• Try to exercise all the functionality that the tool can offer
• Look at how other people evaluated their tools (look at other papers)
